The LIQBA is continually seeking people for all sorts of Quizbowl-related jobs.
Question Writer
This position writes questions for tournaments throughout the United States.
To apply, please email owen@liqba.com with the following: Writing samples of 2 two-sentence, pyramidal tossups (230 characters maximum), writing sample of 1 three-sentence, pyramidal tossup (350 characters maximum), and the position you are interested in (writer/editor).
Preference will be given to applicants who apply on or before September 17, 2026. Remaining spots will be filled on a rolling basis after the deadline.
Question Editor
This position edits questions for tournaments throughout the United States.

Moderator
This position reads questions and keeps score at any LIQBA tournament.
Sound Technician
This position assists in setting up and breaking down microphones, loudspeakers, and mixers at LIQBA tournaments, records various games and ceremonies, and does post-production editing.
Photographer
This position takes photographs of players, teams, games, and ceremonies at LIQBA tournaments.
