No Quizbowl team can do well without practice and study, and the best way to study is by playing questions. Lots of them.

If you’re tired of the same old questions, or using packets from previous seasons, we have a far better way of helping you study: fresh, fully pyramidal questions, every week, guaranteed.

Our practice questions are offered on a subscription basis. Every week, you receive a booklet of our newest material, all pristine.

Practice Subscription

Each week, you receive:

  • 100 tossups, of mixed lengths and difficulties, for practice with your team
  • 20 current events tossups, so you know what’s going on
  • 2 lightning rounds for a little fun
  • 5 bonuses for an extra challenge
  • A study guide on a specific subject, so you can power up your knowledge

Grade Levels

All our questions are appropriate for both Middle and High schools. For Elementary tossups, contact us.

When do we get them?

You’ll get a fresh booklet every Sunday, guaranteed, for use at your practices during the week. This includes the summer months, so your players can keep going during the summer.

How much is it?

You have three subscription options:

  • You can subscribe on a month-to-month basis. In this case, the questions are $25 per month, or just $6.25 per week.
  • You can subscribe on a 6-month term. In this case, the questions are $135 for the 6 months, or $22.50 per month, or about $5.63 per week.
  • You can subscribe for a whole year. In this case, the questions are $250 per year, or $20.83 per month, or just $5.21 per week.

How do I pay?

Payments are done by credit card. If needed, we can send you an invoice for reimbursement.

All Subscriptions Automatically Renew Until They Are Cancelled By You. If you sign up month-to-month, you will be charged $25 every month; for a half-year, $135 every 6 months; for a year, $250 every 12 months. If you do not want your subscription to automatically renew, you must contact us at victor@liqba.com so we can disable it. If you want to cancel, you must do the same.

(I apologize for not making that sufficiently clear in the 2025-26 season. That was a severe and genuine oversight on my part; I had thought it was implied by “subscription”, but I realized that “subscription” actually implied the packets being delivered consistently, not the automatic renewals. If you did not expect an automatic renewal and are dissatisfied, please email me at joe@liqba.com so I can refund you. –Joe)

If you cannot pay by credit card, send an email to victor@liqba.com and let us know. We can set up a purchase order or check payment, but only a yearly subscription qualifies to be paid by check.

The Old-Fashioned Way: Old Questions

We offer 20/20, 4-Quarter, VHSL, and QBNC sets from the 2025-26 season for sale.

All 20/20 sets except the State Championship Set are $50 per set.
All 4-Quarter Sets are $10 per packet.
The State Championship Set is free and can be downloaded here.
The 2026 QBNC Set is $200 for 25 packets of New 4-quarter. If you sign up for the 2027 QBNC, you will get this for free once you pay.
The VHSL Package, consisting of all 27 regular-season packets and the entire Regionals, Super-Regionals, and State sets, is free for all VHSL coaches, one per school; email us to get it.
