FOR THE 2020-2021 SEASON, STANDINGS FOR THE ISLAND CUP ARE CALCULATED AS FOLLOWS:
– For every win in the preliminary rounds, a team earns one point.
– For every win in the playoffs, superplayoffs, and championship rounds, a team earns two points.
– For every loss in the playoffs, superplayoffs, and championship rounds, a team earns one point.
– For every win in first consolation, a team earns one point.
– The tournament champion earns three extra points.
– The runner-up earns two extra points.
– The third-place team earns one extra point.
– Any other game will not earn a team any points.
For this season only, the AQBL is running the Island Cup, and only Long Island teams will be considered for the standings. All of the AQBL’s contests except for the ONCT, as well as the LIQBA’s Long Island Season Finale, will count towards the championship.
